it's official. i am moving back to the great state of oklahoma august 8th! i am going back to finish school and spend quality time with my family.

don't worry, i didn't get fired or anything. i've been praying and thinking about it for the last 6 months or so and it feels like the right thing to do. i am going to miss my friends and my church a lot, but i am really excited to reconnect with old friends and spend the next year figuring out what's next for me.

I had my second cyst in a year removed today. I get these things called sebaceous cysts from time to to time, which are basically messed up hair follicles or pores that get out of control. This one took a lot longer to remove than the first one because it was a lot deeper and bigger. I laid on the table for a good 30 or 40 minutes before they were done. It's a weird feeling to have someone digging in your neck with a knife and pulling stuff out. I don't like it much. At one point I heard sizzling and popping sounds and smelled burning flesh, that was a little disconcerting. After it was over I asked what that sizzling noise was, and the nurse said, "Oh we had to cauterize you." I said with a light saber? She said "no." Just kidding I didn't ask her that. That would have been cool though. I hope I don't get any more cysts for a while, they are a pain.
